How to Apply Fresh / New Passport Online

- Step 1 – Go to official website passportindia.gov.in and open link 'Services' link
- Step 2 – Choose Apply link and further select Fresh / Re-Issue Ordinary Passport link. You will redirect to new webpage, on there checkout “Register” link, open it and Fill registration form if applying New Passport or Login directly for Re-new passport.
- Step 3 – In your dashboard, click on ‘Services’ and then click ‘Apply for Fresh / Re-issue of Passport’. Service will be provided at the discretion of Passport Seva Kendra in-charge/Passport officer. Resubmission of application form is required, in case the applicant does not visit the Passport Seva Kendra within 90 days from the online form submission.
- Step 4 – Important – select your nearest RPO (Regional Passport Office) because all services will reflect the nearest PSK (Passport Seva Kendras) during appointment schedules.
- Step 5 – Apply for Fresh Passport you must hold (Passport Type, Applicant Details, Family Details, Address Details, Emergency Contact, Previous Passport, Other Details, Passport Preview, Details Verification) and submit application. A unique application reference number (ARN) will generate and send it via SMS to your registered number.
- Step 6 – Finally click on View > Pay & Schedule Appointment and make online payment.
